The Rifle Team - Tarleton State University is a non-profit, student run organization whose mission is to encourage, promote and provide educational, recreational, competitive and leadership opportunities to all interested students.

The Rifle Team practices at Tac Pro Shooting Center, which is located seventeen miles North of Stephenville on Highway 108. For more information, please visit www.tacproshootingcenter.com.

In 1999, the Rifle Team was informed by the NRA that it was the only collegiate high power rifle team in the United States. The Rifle Team competes against civilian and military teams in local, regional, and national matches.
